Bennie and Charlotte McDonald of Junior celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 27.
The couple were married on Jan. 27, 1962, in Belington at the Asbury United Methodist Church by the late Rev. John Holbert.
Mr. McDonald is the son of the late Benjamin H. McDonald and V. Pauline McDonald Schoonover. He was employed for 41 years at NAPA in Elkins and is now retired.

Mrs. McDonald is the daughter of the late Ralph R. and Beatrice L. Mace.
They have two children, Jon McDonald and wife, Rosemary, and Deborah Lambert and husband, Gary. They also have three grandchildren, Melanie McDonald and Jacob and Jessica Lambert.
The couples' children hosted a family dinner party to celebrate their golden anniversary.
