Randolph Technical Center and Davis Health Systems have joined together to provide spirometry testing. Carmen Pennington, collision repair instructor, places safety standards above all else, and students are required to wear fresh-air respirators while painting. Baseline testing is completed to determine if the student is healthy enough to wear a fresh air respirator. Testing was performed by Terri Pennington, registered respiratory therapist; and clinical assessments were completed by Dr. Ronald Mudry, pulmonologist. Davis Health Systems assisted with this process, to ensure students’ safety.
