Alderson-Broaddus College will break ground on the new Performance Stadium at noon Saturday.
An official ceremony will be hosted that will include college administrators and personnel, coaches and representatives from the architect company, lighting company and construction company.
The stadium will house football, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's lacrosse.
The college also will officially open the newly renovated Campus Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. Friday. This weekend also celebrates Sibs and Kids.
