The Barbour County Chamber of Commerce will host its second Career Luncheon at the Barbour County Vocational School on April 26.
The joint meeting with the Future Business Leaders of American Club starts at 11:30 a.m. in the food preparation classroom. Students in the class will prepare and serve a hot lunch.
Chamber members are invited to sponsor students selected for their career choices and will participate in the questions and answers following the noon speaker. Teresa Wilson, director of career services at Alderson-Broaddus College, will discuss the important facets of career planning with input from the business community.
Those attending should park - and check in - at the Vocational School. Register with the Chamber office. Chamber members can contribute without attending or may participate without being an active sponsor. All contributions are donated to the Future Business Leaders of America Club, where Gerald Furby and Annetta Vest are faculty advisers.
