MOOREFIELD - The Pendleton?County High School softball team split a pair of games at the Bub Riggleman tournament on Saturday.
The Lady Wildcats won the first game 6-3 over Hedgesville and dropped the nightcap to Frankfort 3-2 in nine innings.
Codi Evick notched the win in?Game 1 in seven innings of work. She gave up three runs on four hits and struck out nine.
Cierra Holloway had a three run double for Pendleton County (8-7).
Evick took the loss in the second game in 4 2/3 innings of work.
Nicole Hedrick and Evick both had two hits.
Pendleton?County hosts Pocahontas County today.
