Todd Agnew is internationally renowned as a worship leader, musician and songwriter behind hits like "Amazing Grace, Grace Like Rain," "Still Has a Hold" and "My Jesus," heard throughout the world on Christian radio and TV.
Agnew has headlined world tours with bands like The News Boys, Rebecca St. James, Third Day, Chris Tomlin and many others. He released his first of eight CD releases in 1997, and his latest, released in March, is titled "How to be Loved." He has received numerous awards and honors in the past 15 years.
Opening for Agnew will be Jonny Diaz, whose name is heard on Christian radio and TV worldwide with his hit, "More Beautiful You." Diaz released three CDs independently before signing with a label in 2009 with "More Beautiful You." This album produced the No. 1 radio single "More Beautiful You," as well as Top 10 "Waiting Room," and led to a 2010 Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year.
Though he has toured with well-known acts like MercyMe and Matthew West, Diaz feels that he finds those opportunities to truly connect with people in smaller venues.
"As an artist, I believe God gifted me with an ability to relate through the songs and stories I share. I like looking out at the crowd and seeing the smiles on faces or tears in the eyes and knowing straightaway that these songs are connecting," he said.
Also opening is a local name and a new face in Regional Contemporary Christian Worship, the Rev. Benita Swick.
