A dump truck rear-ended a black Toyota car Thursday morning on U.S. 250 at the Crystal Springs exit, compacting the entire rear half of the vehicle shown here. The Toyota’s driver and sole occupant was taken to the hospital, while the truck’s operator appeared uninjured. Members of the West Virginia State Police, Elkins City Police, Randolph County Emergency Squad and Elkins Fire Department responded to the accident.
