Organizers of an after-prom party for Elkins High School students have a lot to offer to make the night as fun - and safe - as possible.
The party will take place beginning at 11 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave., in Elkins, where a Ferris wheel and super slide are set up for attendees to enjoy. The all-night event also will feature a movie, arcade games, a scavenger hunt, hourly door prizes, refreshments, breakfast and more.
"We're trying to encourage them to come to a safe event," said one of the organizers, Lynn Ritter, who added that students who didn't preregister still are welcome to attend - they won't be turned away.
Additional information is available by calling Ritter at 304-642-6483 or 304-636-5483.
