Yard sale benefits Literacy Volunteers

The Literacy Volunteers of Upshur County will host its annual yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the First Episcopal Church on Kanawha Street in Buckhannon.

Anyone who'd like to donate any new or gently used items to the sale can deliver them to 34 Franklin St., or contact 304-472-2343 or lvaupco@wirefire.net for further information.

Literacy Volunteers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free tutoring in Upshur County to those who read or test below a fourth-grade level. All tutoring is done by trained volunteers.
