Representatives from St. Joseph's Hospital gathered at the Buckhannon City Hall recently to join with Mayor Kenny Davidson to sign a proclamation recognizing National Hospital Week as May 6 to 12 in the community.
The theme of the celebration was "Making Miracles Happen," with a weeklong schedule of events designed to honor, recognize and encourage staff and patients alike.
Davidson said the city was pleased to salute St. Joseph's Hospital as it celebrates National Hospital Week.

The proclamation noted St. Joseph's Hospital is staffed by professionals with caring hearts and giving spirits who are inspired by the love of Christ to provide the community with quality health care in ways that respect the God-given dignity of each person and the sacredness of human life.
Davidson urged residents to express their appreciation for the hospital and staff who make trustworthy, quality health care possible in the community.
