A French Creek man will undergo a 60-day diagnostic evaluation at the Anthony Center after being convicted in circuit court on a count of fleeing while driving under the influence in regard to a November 2011 incident.
Mark Edward Riffle, 28, was arrested by Trooper 1st Class A.S. Loudin after he was sighted operating a Hydrocarbon Well Service truck running off the right side of the road, according to police reports.
Loudin attempted a traffic stop, but Riffle allegedly refused to stop and was pursued by the officer two and a half miles down Sago Road before Riffle got out of the vehicle.
Riffle was indicted in January on counts of misdemeanor DUI, two counts of fleeing while DUI and second-offense driving while revoked for DUI.
