Elkins Mayor Duke Talbott swears in Christopher Boatwright, a 19-year-old Elkins native, as an Elkins city police officer Tuesday in City Hall. Boatwright said he is very excited to become a police officer. ‘I have always wanted to do it. I want to be a good role model,’ he said.
