A memorial service for Kathleen Straw will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at First Baptist Church in Elkins.
Kathleen died Dec. 7, 2011, after a long illness.
Born at Cowen, raised in Weston, she and her husband and family moved to Elkins in 1957. She worked at Goldberg's Department Store and was a cook in Randolph County Schools.
She was married to William King Straw, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Straw Vaughan and her husband, John of Clarksburg; and her daughter, Arlena Straw of Elkins.
