Mr. Todd Monroe Lawrence I, 42, a resident of Belington, departed this life early Monday morning in Taylor County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Nov. 20, 1969, at Elkins, a son of the late Lorren J. "Jack" Lawrence and Donna J. Lawrence, who survives at Belington.
On June 1, 1996, he was united in marriage to the former Amy Dawn White, who survives at their Belington home.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Todd Monroe Lawrence II and Autumn Lawrence, both at home. Also surviving are three brothers, Jack Lawrence and wife, Alicia, of Tucker County, Tex Lawrence and wife, Tammy, of Philippi and Greg Lawrence and wife, Carla, of Belington; one sister, Shelly Krizner and husband, Frank, of Philippi, and his mother-in- law, Jill Price and husband, Tom, of Belington. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a whole host of friends.
Todd was a 1987 graduate of the Philip Barbour High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He currently was attending the Weaver Church of the Nazarene, was a member of the Hambelton Pentecostal Church of God and was a member of the Belington Masonic Lodge 125 AF&AM. Todd was employed by Arch Coal, where he worked as an electrician. Todd, along with his brothers, formerly owned and operated Lawrence Trucking in Belington. Todd was a very talented motorcycle mechanic and builder specializing in Harley Davidson and was an avid biker. He was also a talented truck mechanic with a love of driving coal trucks and over the road trucks. He loved spending time with his family especially his children and wife. Todd was truly loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Friends will be received from Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 7, and on Friday from 8 until 11 a.m., the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Randy Lawrence officiating assisted by the Rev. Sheldon Pennington and Pastor Johnny Paul Williams. Interment will follow in Parsons City Cemetery, where the Belington Masonic Lodge 125 AF & AM will conduct Masonic Burial Rite. American Legion Post 96 of Belington and American Legion Post 44 of Philippi will conduct full military honors.
