Jason White

Jason David White, 33, a resident of Route 2, Belington, passed away Monday June 4, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born Sept. 22, 1978, at Elkins, a son of the late David Leon White and Jill Weese Price and stepfather, Thomas E. Price of Belington.

Jason was united in marriage on July 1, 2000, to Stephanie D. Wilfong White, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter; Abrianna Mae White; one son, David Taylor White both of Belington; and two sisters, Amy Dawn Lawrence of Belington and Nichole Brook Carpenter and husband, Jonathon, of Montrose

Jason was preceded in death by grandparents, Homer and Lillian Weese, Martha and Jack McIntyre and Dorothy and Edward Price.

He worked as an underground maintenance foramen for Arch Coal Co. Jason was the coach for several sports, such as the Barbour County football coach, Belington Little League and Jerry West Basketball, and he loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Philippi Southern Baptist Church.

Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St. in Philippi today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Thursday June 7, from 8 to 11 a.m., the service hour with Pastor Brian Corrick officiating. Interment will follow in Belington Fraternal Cemetery.
