A devout Christian, Elizabeth Jane Knotts Merriam "Liz," joined her Lord on Friday, June 1, 2012.
In celebration of her life, a memorial service and reception will be conducted at First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave. in Elkins Friday, June 8, at 2 p.m. All are welcome and invited to place special pictures, notes and other keepsakes in a memory scrapbook.
In honor of Liz's love for teaching and the many challenges children face, donations to "The Backpack Program" of First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
