Davis & Elkins College awarded two Harman High School graduating seniors $105,000 in scholarships recently as part of D&E’s nationally recognized Highlands Scholar Program. Students receiving the awards to attend Davis & Elkins College this fall include Cassie McFarlan, left, and Lauren Bryan, pictured with senior admission counselor Joey VanDevender. The Highlands Scholarship is given to qualifying seniors every year graduating in Barbour, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Randolph, Tucker, Upshur and Webster counties.
