Doyle G. Satterfield, 75, of Buckhannon, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born Dec. 2, 1936, in California, a son of the late Guy and Ruby McGrath Satterfield. He was also preceded in death by one son, Stanley Satterfield; and one sister.
On May 27, 1962, he married Patsy Smith, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Dr. Diana Satterfield of Bath, N.Y.; two granddaughters, Christina Riley of Rock Cave and Holley Kolodziejczak of Bath; one grandson, Jacob Kuver of Bath; two great granddaughters, Kendra and Keyra Riley, both of Rock Cave; one brother and three sisters.
Mr. Satterfield was a drill operator and owner of Satterfield Auto Salvage and enjoyed spending time with his customers. He loved spending time in his garage, where he kept a recliner and refrigerator, and enjoyed camping and traveling with his family. He adored his grandchildren.
