The bucket list is a list of things someone would like to do or accomplish before "kicking the bucket." No one is promised tomorrow. Too many people die young without accomplishing the things they wanted to do in life. The hardest part of creating isn't creating it, but living it. We often have a great idea and even write it down, but the never follow up to accomplish it. Don't wait for retirement. Do it now.
Health motivator Teresa Khan asked members to contact the Upshur County Senior Center to enroll in the Senior Farmer's Market Program. Benefits in the program include purchasing locally grown fruit and vegetables to help support the local economy. She also asked members to ask about the use of pesticides and chemicals.
Khan also reported on the Advisory Board meeting. Sharon Strader was selected as strawberry belle.
