Philip Barbour senior infielder Andy Green was selected to the Class AA All-State first team released by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association on Wednesday.
Green hit an impressive .409 in helping lead the Colts to a 14-16 record this season.
"He was one of our overall top players this season," former Philip Barbour coach Stan Fitzwater said of Green. "He was great in both the infield and outfield for us. He was also one of our top pitchers this season."
Jordan Banks (Chapmanville), Travis McKinney (Wyoming East), Jacob Muncy (River View), Tyler Holt (Berkeley Springs), Chase Alonso (Liberty-Harrison), Ryan Harless (Wayne), Wyatt Adkins (Oak Hill), Reno Jackson (Ritchie County), Ryan Walton (Magnolia), Tyler Adkins (Wayne), Corey Bird (Herbert Hoover), Kyle Elliott (Magnolia), Eric Roberts (Point Pleasant), Steven Barr (Oak Glen) and Ryder Bolin (Ritchie County) make up the rest of the first team. Bird was named captain of the unit.
Petersburg outfielder Hunter Warner was the only area player selected to the second team.
Warner was joined on the second team by Josh Davis (Liberty-Harrison), Tristan Fields (Herbert Hoover), Brandon Maynard (Wayne), Brad Fox (Bluefield), Noah Frampton (Poca), Derek Thornton (Wyoming East), Jason Stouffer (Point Pleasant), Zach Null (Sissonville), Zach Mullins (Herbert Hoover), James Robertson (Westside), Donnie Robbins (Bluefield), Brandon Toler (Point Pleasant), Corey Dishmon (Liberty-Raleigh), Leshon Benton (River View) and Jared Spielman (Berkeley Springs). Toler was captain of the second team.
Two area players made the special honorable mention team as Philip Barbour's Chance Price and Petersburg's Trevor Harman made the list.
