Doris Jean Blackburn, 84, of Elkins, passed away June 14, 2012.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at noon today with the Rev. Dr. Basil A. Hensley officiating.
Doris' request for cremation will then be honored. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to one of the following charitable organizations, Operation Christmas Child, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, N.C. 28607; Women's Aid in Crisis, P.O. Box 2062, Elkins, W.V. 26241 and the Women's Auxiliary of the Davis Memorial Hospital, P.O. Box 1697, Elkins, W.V. 26241.
