The Barbour County Independence Weekend Celebration committee is planning a Gala Flea Market at the Barbour County Fairgrounds during Independence Weekend, set July 7 and 8.
The public is invited to participate, either as a visitor or as a vendor. The flea market will operate from 8 a.m. July 7 through 4 p.m. July 8. Vendors can set up sale items any time between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. July 6. Merchandise should be removed before 5:30 p.m. July 8. Participants will provide their own table, chairs, stands and other supplies.
The committee reminds vendors that the sponsors are not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items. The committee also reserves the right to monitor, restrict or remove any non-family-friendly sale item.
Payment checks should be made out to the Barbour County Fair Association. To register, vendors should send their name, mailing address and telephone number with payment to The Barbour County Fair Office. P.O. Box 87, Philippi, WV 26416. Further information is available by calling the fair office at 304-823-1328.
