Police and emergency workers respond Thursday to Seneca Rocks in Pendleton County after a body was found. West Virginia State Police spokesman 1st Sgt. Michael Baylous said law enforcement officials were in the process of retrieving the body at about 5:45 p.m., but the area was hard to access and they required assistance to reach it. After the discovery, state troopers and U.S. Forest Service officials responded to Seneca Rocks and closed the parking lot by the trailhead, as well as the trail.
