Jim and Ruby E. George of Mill Creek will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on July 1.
The couple were married July 1, 1972, by the late Rev. Frank Long.
Mr. George is the son of Ruby J. George of Mabie and the late Rev. Ronald George Sr. He is employed at Carter Roag. Coal Co.

Mrs. George is the daughter of Jean Weese of Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center and the late Kenneth Weese.
They have three children, Crystal Carr and husband, Mike, and James K. and wife, Shelly. One son, Alex Keith, is deceased.
They have six grandchildren, Danielle Carr and fiance, Josh, Justin Carr and wife, Kaitlin, Hunter and Kennedy Carr, Ethan and Walker George. They have one great granddaughter, Karigan Carr.
