The Beverly Woman's Club met recently at the Beverly Elementary School to present Kenny Weese with a plaque and to thank him for the beautification and upkeep of the school lawn.
Weese has put many hours into keeping the Russell L. Curtis Sr. Memorial as well as the front lawn of the school in immaculate shape. He is this year's recipient of the 2012 Community Award from the Beverly Woman's Club.
Arden Swecker also was honored last year with a plaque for all the work he has done to preserve and beautify the town of Beverly.
