Dorothy J. Hendershot Jennings, 89, of Grafton, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, in Valentine Personnel Care Home in Elkins.
She was born Jan. 13, 1923, at Grafton, a daughter of the late Wallace N. Henderson and Stella Hendershot Henderson.
Her husband, Carl J. Jennings, preceded her in death June 8, 1978.

She is survived by one daughter, Karla K. Flores and husband, Ernest, of Elkins; two sons, Francis "Bud" Jennings and wife, Barbara, of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Randel "Randy" Jennings and wife, Katie, of Fellowsville; seven grandchildren, Brian Jennings and Devona of Spring, Texas, Carl Richard "Rick" Jennings and Angie of Philippi, Joshua Jennnings and Lisa of Richmond, Va., Ryan Withers and Lydia of Huntington, Meredith Will and Josh of Austin, Texas, Amanda Martin and Josh of Grafton and Tim Jennings and Lana of Morgantown; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Catherine "Katie" Kuhn of Ormond Beach, Fla.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Sarabel Terhune, Lillian Engle and Betty Oszust.
She was a member of the Church of the Covenant, a 1941 graduate of Grafton High School, a member of the Grafton City Hospital Auxiliary, the Business Womens Club and the Naomi Chapter 12 Order of the Eastern Star.
Dot loved spending time with her family, quilting, crocheting, making homemade candy and watching her birds.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. in Grafton, today from 3 to 8 p.m. Graveside service will be conducted at Woodsdale Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, with Pastor Jacqueline Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Woodsdale Memorial Park.
