Nancy Sue Roberts Tincher, 65, a resident of Elkins, departed this life Friday evening, June 29, 2012, in Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.
She was born Tuesday, Nov. 5, 1946, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Glen Dayton and Ruth Evelyn Byrd Roberts.
Surviving are one son, Michael Isaac Bell Jr., and wife, Kathy, of Elkins; one daughter, Vernonica Rena Bell of Gerrardstown; one adopted son, David Tincher and wife, Andrea; two brothers, Harry and James Roberts; five sisters, Barbara Messer, Ruth Barker, Debra Funk, Pamela Herron and Tammy Isenhart; 12 grandchildren, Alethea Clarke, Joshua Burdick, Kevin Bell, Matthew Bell, Christopher Bell, Chandra Waybright, Quinn Ketterman, Amber Ketterman, Samantha Tincher, Brittany Tincher, Allie Tincher and Taylor Tincher; three great-grandchildren, Tristen Clarke, Jeffery Clarke and LaRissa Clarke.
Preceding her in death were one brother, Glen David Roberts; and two sisters, Darlene Dale Hedrick and Carolyn Blanche Lewis.
She attended the schools of Randolph County, was a homemaker and attended the The Refuge Church.
Mrs. Tincher's request for cremation was honored. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at The Refuge Church at Gilman with Pastor Kevin Gainer officiating.
