The Randolph County Office of Emergency Management has announced that two cooling stations will be open Wednesday, one at the Tygarts Valley Middle/High School and one at the Tygart Valley Fire Department.

Assistant Superintendent of Schools Terry George said the school's cooling station has air conditioning, ice and showers. The building will be opening between 9:30 and 10 a.m.

At the fire department station, breakfast will be available at 9 a.m. Wednesday to those without power, according to an announcement Tuesday evening from the RCOEM.

A feeding station also will be set up at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Valley Head Fire Department for those without power.

For those without water, anyone in the Mill Creek area can fill containers at the Mill Creek Water Plant on Adolph Road. Drinking water also is available at the Coalton and Valley Head volunteer fire departments.

A boil-water notice remains in effect for everyone in the state who experienced any loss of water this week following Friday's storm. This includes the Norton-Harding-Jimtown Public Service District.
