A West Virginia State Police officer takes notes to determine the cause of a single-car accident in the east bound lane near the Crystal Springs exit on Corridor H on Tuesday. Two people were sent to the hospital and the east bound lane was closed. Troopers at the scene said one female was ejected from the silver chevrolet Cavalier that slammed into the guardrail and flipped over. Another passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle by the fire department. The West Virginia State Police, Randolph County Emergency Squad and Elkins Fire Department responded the accident. No further details were available at presstime.
