A tennis camp for children 10 and younger will be available to the kids who would like to try the game of tennis or improve their skills at tennis.
Ten and Under Tennis is a revolutionary change in the way kids learn and play tennis as well as compete. The program is structured for kids to learn tennis and rally and play quickly in a way that is both enjoyable and rewarding.
This area is fortunate to have a regional representative of the United States Tennis Association. Kyle Hoffman, PTR teaching professional from Fairmont, will bring the program to the Lewis County Park. The camp will involve sessions from 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 9, 10, 12, 23, 24 and 25.
Hoffman will provide all the equipment for the 10 and Under tennis camp, including the proper size racquets and balls. The tennis courts and nets will be realigned so the kids will get to rally more, which allows them to have more fun. Participants need to be dressed in comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
To register, anyone should email Kyle at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 304-612-4558.
In addition, the Lewis County Park will give a free pool pass to all participants.
