Free charging stations available at U.S. Cellular

July 6, 2012
The Inter-Mountain

As area residents continue to recover from the impact of weekend storms that left thousands in the region without power, U.S. Cellular (NYSE:USM) is providing charging stations at its retail stores throughout the area where residents can power up their cell phones, make complimentary phone calls to loved ones and access the Internet.

U.S. Cellular customers also can switch out their dead or dying cellphone batteries for a fully charged one for free through the company's industry-leading Battery Swap program.

"Our top priority is making sure we are here for our customers when they need us," said Dana Dorcas, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in the Mid-Atlantic. "That's why we've opened our stores to meet the needs of our neighbors with free charging stations and Internet access."

Residents may visit area U.S. Cellular location for help with any of the above services:

Morgantown

Granville

Fairmont

Clarksburg

Elkins.
