The food was left over from the camp set up at Elkins High School to house power workers who were restoring electricity after the June 29 storm. Elkins Mayor Duke Talbott said the ice, water, Gatorade and frozen food will be distributed to several organizations including Camp Pioneer, Women’s Aid in Crisis and Woodford Memorial Church.
