The Elkins 14 year-old Babe Ruth All-Star team is hosting 2012 state tournament that is scheduled to get under way Thursday at Robin Harvey Memorial Field. Elkins will play Beckley in the first round at 5 p.m. Team members include, front row, from left, Dakota Terrano, Jared Kerns, Kole Hopwood, Sam Ross, Ryan Hoffman and P.J. Lanham. Back row, manager Chris Broughton, coach Keith Hopwood, Joseph Severino, Cole Harlan, Jordan Schumacher, Caleb Riggleman, Daniel Crawford, Trenton Hamrick, Brandon Scott, coach Tug Ross and scorekeeper Brad Schumacher. Harrison County and Huntington Southeast will join Elkins and Beckley in the field. The tournament championship game is scheduled for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Robin Harvey Memorial Field.
