The Elkins 13 year-old Babe Ruth All-Star team will host the 2012 state tournament which is scheduled to get under way Thursday at Robin Harvey Memorial Field. Elkins will play Harrison County in the first round at 8 p.m. Team members include, front row, from left, Daniel Hamrick, Adam Riggleman, Greyson Teets, Ben Huffman, Alec Karlen, Sam Nestor and Will Crumm. Back row, Ron Huffman, coach Jim Gainer, Caleb Riggleman, Rece Wamsley, Shane Bodkin, David Gainer, Kyle Riggleman, Matt Wilson, Cory Gillespie, Blake Loftis and manager Jack Crumm. Huntington Southeast is the other team competing in the three-team field. The tournament title game is slated for 5 p.m. on Saturday.
