The Upshur County Citizens Corps is sponsoring a free class for any Upshur County adult interested in learning more about being part of the county's Community Emergency Response Team.
Classes will be conducted from 6 to 9:30 p.m. July 17 and 19; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 21 at the Upshur County Office of Emergency Management.
Space is limited for this free class in which participants will be trained in emergency firefighting; light search and rescue; how to relieve survivor stress; medical triage; medical treatment; and terrorism.
