Amber Lee Ratliff Jr., 34, of 19 Heavener Acres, is charged with four counts of third-degree sexual assault. Bond was set at $50,000, cash only, on July 17 in Randolph County Magistrate Court.
According to the criminal complaint, which was filed by Deputy B.T. Sharp of the Randolph County Sheriff's Department, Ratliff was interviewed by law enforcement July 8.
In the interview, Ratliff allegedly said he began a sexual relationship with the girl May 29.
Ratliff allegedly told police he engaged in sexual intercourse with the girl every night for more than two weeks, and the relationship continued until about July 6, according to the complaint.
Ratliff was being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail as of presstime.
In other magistrate court news, a Dailey man was arrested and charged with third-offense shoplifting.
Bond for Aaron Wayne Kittle, 25, was set at $40,000 cash or surety on July 20 in Randolph County Magistrate Court.
According to the criminal complaint, filed by Trooper 1st Class J.R. Wince, Kittle entered the Par Mar Store at the intersection of U.S. 219 and Chenoweth Creek Road in Elkins at about 7:15 p.m. May 4.
With assistance from his girlfriend, Alicia Kerns, Kittle placed merchandise in a bag without paying for it, the complaint alleges. Kittle and Kerns allegedly paid for several items, but left without paying for the items in the bag, police said.
After watching the video surveillance provided by the store, Wince identified Kittle and Kerns from several previous encounters, the complaint states. The items stolen totaled an estimated $35.77, police said.
Kittle was convicted of shoplifting twice previously, in 2010 and 2011, the complaint states.
