Appalachian tradition continues every Sunday afternoon, rain or shine, at Pickin’ in Mingo in southern Randolph County, when folks gather to play instruments, sing favorite songs and listen to music together for free. The weekly gatherings take place at the Mingo School House and are co-sponsored by the Mingo Historical Society and the Mingo Community Center.
