Mrs. Christina Mae Saylor Foraker, 74, a resident of Route 1 Montrose, departed this life at 8:50 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, in Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.
She was born July 23, 1938, at Coshocton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Earl and Maude Saylor.
In 1987 she was united in marriage to Gerald Foraker, who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 2009.
Surviving are three daughters, Roxanne Proudfoot and husband, Mike, of Louisville, Ohio, Kathleen Johnson and husband, Ted, of Montrose and Christina Gatzlaff of Springfield, MN,; two brothers, Thurman Saylor of N.C., Richard and Donnie Saylor; and two sisters, Carmen Jarvis and Romona Untied, all of Ohio.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son Richard Alvin Frederick.
Mrs. Foraker had been employed with the Longaberger Basket Co. from which she retired. She had been affiliated with The Church of Christ for many years and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, crafts and gardening.
