CONNORSVILLE, Ind. - The Elkins 14-year-old Babe Ruth All-Star team's postseason run came to end on Sunday after a strong showing in the Ohio Valley Regional tournament.
Elkins, which finished the tournament 3-2, lost to Bluelick Kentucky 9-3 on Sunday.
Daniel Crawford had two hits, while Jordan Schumacher had a hit and an RBI for Elkins.

Joseph Severino and P.J. Lanham also had hits, while Cole Harlan had an RBI for Elkins.
Harlan took the loss for Elkins in three innings of work. Crawford and Caleb Riggleman both pitched two innings of relief.
Elkins defeated New Castle (Ind.), 11-6, on Saturday afternoon.
Riggleman notched the win for Elkins in four innings of work. Harlan pitched three innings of relief and duo combined on nine strikeouts.
Ryan Hoffman had a three-run triple to lead Elkins at the plate.
Harlan and Severino both had one hit and RBI each for Elkins.
Elkins lost to Northern (Ind.), 13-4, late Friday night.
Crawford took the loss on the mound in three innings of work.
Jared Kerns and Severino also pitched in relief for Elkins.
Kerns had two hits to lead Elkins at the plate.
"This was a total team effort in this tournament," Elkins coach Chris Broughton said. "I'm proud of the boys. They had a very good run and I hate to see it come to an end.
"I want to thank the players, my assistant coaches, scorekeeper and parents for their dedication and all of their hard work. This just shows how good of a Babe Ruth league we have in Elkins they way we came out here and competed."
