Hazel Mae Carr Wyatt, 100, a former resident of Route 3, Belington, and more recently a resident of Nella's Inc. at Crystal Springs, departed this life Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in Nella's.
She was born Friday, June 7, 1912, at Wymer, a daughter of the late Leslie Lee and Stella Mae Summerfield Carr.
On July 31, 1933, in Randolph County, she was married to Boyd Jay Wyatt, who preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1991.

Surviving are four daughters, Edith Wyatt and Ben, Lillian Slitter and husband, Lee, Mabel Kelley and husband, Dale, all of Ohio, and Ethel Lambert and Bob Stevenson of Florida; two sons, Everett Wyatt and wife, Nina, of Ohio, and Boyd Junior Wyatt and wife, Shirley, of Belington; two sons-in-law, Zell Lambert and James Westfall; and 34 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Preceding her in death were one son, Douglas J. Wyatt; two daughters, Celia Wyatt and Barbara Proctor; one sister, Rosalee See; two brothers, Hoy and Edgar Carr; two sons-in-law, William Thompson and William Leggett; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She attended the one-room school at Lambert Hollow, was a homemaker and retired from Davis Memorial Hospital with 50 years of service. She was a member of Lambert Mennonite Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily, was a noted cook and gardener and enjoyed canning.
The family will receive friends at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home chapel Friday, Aug. 3, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Roy F. Good of Harrisonburg, Va., will officiate and entombment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Gilman
