Church campers make colorful crafts

Shown from right, Brookleigh Shreve, Michelle Murphy and Michael Collett participate Thursday in Vacation Bible School at Camp Pioneer in Beverly. The kids each filled in a plastic, hollow cross with colorful sand to make sand art for the daily craft activity. A total of 54 children participated in the Bible school that day, which is organized by members of Burke Community Church located in Burke, Va., along with local churches.
