Christopher Michael Farnsworth, 16, of Route 4, Buckhannon, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, in Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital.
He was born March 16, 1995, at Buckhannon, a son of Michael and Amy Day Farnsworth.
In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by one sister, Hailey Farnsworth of Buckhannon; paternal grandparents, Harold and Linda Farnsworth of Buckhannon; maternal grandparents, Rick and Barb Day of Buckhannon; paternal great-grandmother, Areta Wilfong; maternal great-grandmother, Jane Slaughter of Buckhannon; aunts and uncles, Michelle and Josh Catlett of Winchester, Va., Danny and Donna Farnsworth of Buckhannon and Amanda Day of Buckhannon; and cousins, Brooklyn and Emily Catlett, Catalina and Levi Farnsworth and Bianca Leongtave.
Christopher was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to hunt, fish, camp and go four-wheeling. He was a very loving person and will be missed dearly by all family and friends.
Friends will be received at Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel Saturday, Aug. 11, from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in Buckhannon Memorial Park.
