Firefighters from the Elkins and Beverly volunteer fire departments battle a house fire Friday at 99 11th St. in Elkins. The home, which is divided into multiple apartments, caught fire around 5:15 p.m. When firefighters arrived, smoke was pouring out of the roof. The Elkins Police Department and Randolph County Emergency Squad also responded to the call. Additional information, such as possible injuries or estimated damages, was not available by presstime.
