Gary Allen Butcher, 63, of Buckhannon, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at his home.
He was born Jan. 16, 1949, at Buckhannon, a son of Oscar Allen Butcher of Ambridge, Pa., and the late Judy Beer Butcher.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, Sid Butcher and Richard L. Butcher, both of Buckhannon; two aunts, Evelyn Riffle and Wanna Mae Beer, both of Buckhannon; one uncle, Max Reed and wife, Avis, of Buckhannon; and numerous cousins.

Mr. Butcher was a truck driver.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
