One woman was transported to Davis Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon as the result of a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 33 West of Elkins, shown here. West Virginia State Trooper Cory Elliott said the driver appeared to have crossed the median, lost control of her vehicle and hit a road sign. Emergency personnel from Elkins Volunteer Fire Department and Randolph County Emergency Medical Services assisted at the scene. Elliott said the accident is still under investigation.
