Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Carr of Parsons will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 1 at the First United Methodist Church in Parsons.
The couple were married on Sept. 1, 1962, in Buckhannon.
Mrs. Carr is the former Diane Williams.
The couple has four children, Sharon Dennis, and David, Michael and Tracy Carr. They also have four grandchildren, Billy and Amber Dennis and Mary Beth and Ethan Carr; and one great-grandson, Jacob Dennis.
All family and friends are invited to the celebration. It is requested that gifts be omitted.
