3:15 p.m.: Police investigate mobile meth lab

Emergency call came in as 'officer down'

August 28, 2012
The Inter-Mountain

Police are investigating a reported mobile meth lab near Bob's Hot Dogs in Norton.

An Inter-Mountain reporter at the scene saw one woman being arrested, although other suspects also might be in custody. An emergency 911 call for "officer down" at that location came in to the Randolph County 911 center a little after 2 p.m., and a representative at the Elkins Detachment of the West Virginia State Police confirmed one of the detachment's officers was involved.

Area police are still at the scene conducting the investigation.

Additional information will be posted at www.theintermountain.com as it becomes available.
