TRG Customer Solutions is "absolutely" on the lookout for local workers to fill 100 jobs currently open at its Elkins location, the company's senior operations manager said Tuesday.
Tracy Patrick said the company is in search of employees with a high school diploma, "clean background" and the ability to pass a drug test.
TRG employees 234 people currently, Patrick said.
"We're holding an informational session today," Patrick said, noting that TRG holds such sessions on a bimonthly basis. Patrick's comments came on the heels of Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin's announcement Monday that TRG would be adding 130 new jobs statewide and filling 195 vacancies at its Beckley, Charleston and Elkins locations.
Based in Washington, D.C., TRG is a leading global business process outsourcing provider of customer management solutions and technologies, according to a press release from the governer's office.
Patrick credits the Elkins branch's success to its employees' work ethic and diligence.
"The success of the people that we have in Elkins and the hard work and dedication that they have helps us to grow and keeps giving us more business," Patrick said. "We're the number one vendor for our client."
TRG's client is a Fortune 500 company, but Patrick said he wasn't at liberty to divulge its name.
