Upshur County Assessor Helen R. Phillips recently issued reminders to local citizens.
Phillips said property owners whose land might qualify or previously qualified for "farm use" should fill out an application by Sept. 1 to continue their qualification.
Also, Phillips said all business property owners who have not been assessed for the 2013 tax year for property owned on July 1, 2012, should please do so by Sept. 1.
