Elkins picked up a dual-match victory over Philip Barbour Wednesday in Big 10 Conference action at the Elks Country Club.
The Tigers shot a 157 on the day, while the Colts carded a 177.
"We were happy to get the win," Elkins coach Dave Baird said. "I thought we played well. But we still have some adjustments to make before our next match."

Elkins' Braden Hammond captured low-medalist honors after shooting a 37.
"Braden has really been playing well as of late," Baird said. "I was real happy with the way he came out and performed today. Hopefully it was continue for him."
Hammond shared low-medalist honors with teammate Alex Baird in a three-team match with Robert C. Byrd and South Harrison on Tuesday.
Baird also had another solid showing on Wednesday by finishing with a 38.
"Like Braden, Alex is playing well," Baird said. "The two of them have led our team this season."
Kollin Hopwood scored a 40 for the Tigers, while Kelsi Trippett shot a 42.
Joseph Severino (48) and Brendan Cain (49) rounded out Elkins' competitors.
Logan Collins and Luke Freeman both shot 42 to lead Philip Barbour, which will entertain the Tigers for a match on Tuesday.
